The First guest is Luca Colombo, the rider from Milan, Italy, who with his motorbike established two records: the world’s record distance on freshwater accomplishing the crossing of the Como’s lake during a 5.5 km strecht that goes from Gravedona to Colico in 2017 and, in 2019, the absolute world speed record on the water beating with 104 km/h that set by the Australian Robbie Maddison.

Alessandra Giannascoli is a perfect example of it: graduated in marine biology at Ancona University, like many young people today, she struggles finding a job post university. After many defeats, she develops a wild decision: leaving Italy to seek her fortune, destination Australia. And it’s here that Alessandra will be able to fulfill her dream: working among corals!

Water can reveals positive and unexpected surprises, such as the story of Fabio Annigoni, a long time jet sky driver. In 1999, while he was in the U.S.A. to assist at the World Champion‘s Final of his own discipline, he discover K38, a company of water rescue that act onboard of runabout jetsky. He decide to bring that idea in Italy and didi it: from 2000 our country is included in the net of K38, achieving the recognition of affiliated school. Annigoni, actual president of K38Italy, manages to combine his love for water rides with security and safeguarding, sharing an innovative and pioneering model now reconnized worldwide.

He is a legend of sailing. And he knows a lot about the sea: to watch him in silence, to face him alone, to love and challenge him… Vittorio Malingri is the protagonist of the new episode of Water & The Hero and of many other adventures: together with his son Nico he set the record in the crossing from Dakar to Guadalupe. A journey of 5,000 km, aboard a 6-meter boat, in adverse conditions. Alone against the sea.

Francesca Ronchi, ISPRA (Higher Institute for Environmental Protection and Research) researcher, is a marine biologist and is the protagonist of the new episode of Water & The Hero. Riccardo Felici delves into some special projects followed by Ronchi for ISPRA, such as ML Repair: an initiative that “contributes to the sustainable growth of tourism and fishing in the Adriatic Sea, promoting behavioral changes through awareness-raising activities and innovative approaches”.
